Portfolio: Michael Land Photography
Michael Land Photography specializes in images of workboats, birds, lighthouses and more of the Chesapeake Bay region. The site was created both as an online gallery of my work as well as a showcase for client-driven photography. It includes a calendar of events and blog (which includes an content management interface to add new blog entries). The site utilizes ColdFusion to dynamically display over 200 thumbnails and photos.
I wanted a design that was intuitive to use and nice looking - but more importantly, didn't overpower my photography. I feel like the design both compliments my work and facilitates a simple browsing experience.
