Save the River, the leading environmental advocate working to protect and preserve the Upper St. Lawrence River, called on Land Designs to fully redesign their website. They needed a new presence to highlight their vast array of environmental initiatives. Land Designs delivered a clean, aesthetically pleasing, intuitive design.
Land Designs worked very closely with BluOctopus to integrate a Wordpress blog, Google-based calendar and other features into a ColdFusion framework.
As a grassroots advocate, educating and keeping in touch with our members via the web is critical to our success but we have a small staff that is not particularly 'tech savvy'. Mike and his team worked closely with us to clearly define our audience and goals for the site as well as to understand our internal capacity and needs. As a result, Save The River now has a much stronger web presence that has greatly enhanced our advocacy efforts.
